Give managers working in 5A occupations an extra 10% off Platinum Advantage with the Preferred Occupation Discount. In-office managers with no manual duties earning $75,000 or more will be eligible for the Preferred Occupation Discount.
Preferred Occupation Discount
The discount provides 10% savings on Platinum Advantage to several 5A occupations, such as:
- Actuaries (Fellow or MAAA)
- CPAs
- Data Scientists with master’s degree or Ph.D.
- Engineers with professional engineering license or degree
- Executives earning at least $75,000/year each of the last 2 years, 3 years in the same occupation
- Managers/Other Office Workers with managerial duties and no manual duties, earning at least $75,000/year each of the last 2 years, 3 years in the same occupation
- Ph.D. Economists
- Ph.D. Scientists (office and laboratory duties only)
Please note, managers working in the following roles will not be eligible for this discount:
- Sales
- Computer science/IT
- Consultants
- Insurance producers, financial advisors and financial planners
