NGL released the following announcement today:
Effective today, August 9, 2021, at 6 p.m. EST (3 p.m. PST), we have no choice but to suspend the sales of Lifetime Premium EssentialLTC applications, in Washington State only.
10-Year Premium Payment Option applications may continue to be submitted subject to a $6,000 annual premium minimum.
Single Premium Payment Option applications may continue to be submitted subject to a $30,000 premium minimum.
These changes are likely to remain in effect through November 1, 2021, but further action may be taken based on new business trends. All applications, including E-APPs, must be fully submitted before 6 p.m. EST (3 p.m. PST) today. Any E-APP sent for signature but not signed by all parties will not be accepted. There will be no exceptions for E-APPs, mailed paper applications or uploaded applications received after the deadline.
We are going to do our very best to process all of the Washington State business we currently have in house by November 1, 2021; however, due to the sheer volume of applications we cannot guarantee any timeframe.
